The next coverart project we did was for young author Lauren Scott’s ‘3000’ – the sequel to ‘2929‘
We were actually approached by our dear friend Tina Koban – the artist who did the cover for ‘2929’ – to draw the cover for the sequel (Thanks for thinking of us, Koban!) We knew right away that it’d be an exciting project for us, because for one, it will be our very first sci-fi cover art and secondly, a great opportunity for Isaia to experiment on funky perspectives!
And experiment he did – with lots of fun too 🙂 Lauren wanted the cover to include a scene of destruction reflected within an eye. Trying to achieve a fish-eye lens effect, Isaia experimented on a five-point perspective technique and… the result was awesome! Check out the process below.
